As the dawn broke on September 25^thpreparations had already begun for the annual lodge picnic. The day was proving to be another hot Southern California Saturday but that only seemed to add to the excitement. Members came from everywhere to help make this day one filled with fun and excitement for everyone who would attend.

A variety of activities included the Dunk Tank (which was a hit since it gave many an excuse to get wet and cool off), and a bounce house for the kids from the wonderful folks at Jumpers King, face painting (for kids and adults alike), the first annual Pork Chop contest, a wonderful meal and a great movie!

Not only did everyone come together for food and fun, additionally we raised over $1000 to help support many of our charities!
